PREPARING FOR THE PRE-MOVE SURVEY
To allow us to provide you with the most accurate and comprehensive quotation, it would be helpful if you are able tell your salesperson which items are to be:
- Shipped By Air
- Shipped By Sea
- Moved Locally
- Place In Storage
- Not To Be Shipped
If you relocation is being sponsored by your company, It would be helpful if you are aware of your corporate relocation policy and allowances, So your salesperson can advise whether or not you are adhering to your allowances.
PROCESS DURING THE PRE-MOVE SURVEY
Its best to start the pre-move survey walking room-by-room with the salesperson indicating which items are to be removed. He or she will then sit down with you to introduce vanpac (pak) inc. services and analyses your needs. Please remember to alert the salesperson of items that were previously damaged and / or repaired, items of special concern, and any items that may have posed problem during previous relocation (e.g. hoisting, stair carry, etc.).
